This monograph examines 191 species across 37 genera of the Scarabaeidae subfamily Dynastinae (Rhinoceros Beetles) native to Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Identification keys for the tribes, genera, and species are provided in both English and Spanish. Comprehensive details are given for every species, including: images, morphological descriptions, monthly adult activity (phenology), ecology, genitalia illustrations, worldwide geographical distribution, and distribution maps within the study area. The volume also includes an overview of the higher taxa, a section on misidentifications (erroneous records), a glossary, and a species checklist for the region. Furthermore, one new species is described and new synonymies are proposed. The study also reports numerous new country records.
