This book records the life histories of 27 species of Theclinae butterflies in Taiwan. For the first time, adult ecological photos of Antigius jinpingi and Euaspa tayal are shown, and the complete life history of Euaspa tayal is presented. For most species, detailed records of every stage — egg, larva, pupa, and adult — are included, along with explanations of adult behavior and reproduction. The book contains more than 3,500 high-quality photos of adults, eggs, larvae, and pupae, as well as close-up images of fine structures such as eggs, heads, and forelegs. It also provides detailed descriptions of ecological behavior in adults and larvae, host plants, and recommended places for observation. In addition, behind-the-scenes stories from the research process are introduced. The text is in Chinese (Traditional), and scientific names are included.
