This book, the first field guide to aquatic beetles in Hong Kong, provides detailed illustrations and descriptions for 14 families of aquatic Coleoptera found in the region. It features the life cycles and key diagnostic characteristics for more than 30 species and genera of water beetles. Furthermore, the guide includes a comprehensive checklist of all 173 aquatic beetle species recorded in Hong Kong.
